The Schneider Electric AvatarOn 13A double-pole fused connection unit with LED indicator combines a double-pole switch, fuse overload protection, and an LED indicator in one. It can disconnect both live and neutral wires simultaneously, making it especially suitable for bathroom exhaust fans to ensure safety during future maintenance. The Hong Kong official product is priced at HK$300 and is available in stock in four colors: White, Rose Gold, Soft Brass, and Dark Wood.
Product Introduction
The AvatarOn series comes from Schneider Electric. This 13A fused connection unit with double-pole switch and LED indicator integrates three functions—double-pole switching, fuse protection, and LED indication—into a single unit. The double-pole design allows the switch to cut off both live and neutral lines, going beyond simply cutting the live wire, which is particularly important for appliances (such as bathroom exhaust fans) that require total power disconnection for safe maintenance. The built-in fuse provides overload protection, automatically blowing if the current exceeds the load to ensure household electrical safety.

Suitable Scenarios
This switch is most suitable for installation near bathroom exhaust fans. Since exhaust fans usually operate in humid environments and require regular maintenance or cleaning, the double-pole design ensures complete power disconnection (both live and neutral wires) during repairs, significantly enhancing safety. It is also suitable for any circuit location requiring fuse overload protection, such as fixed appliance outlets in kitchens or workshops.
