For residents in older Hong Kong buildings or large housing estates, if existing switches are insufficient or if you wish to upgrade to a double-pole design for increased maintenance safety, the AvatarOn 45A switch is an ideal choice. The blue LED indicator also provides convenience for checking power status in kitchens, workshops, or other dimly lit environments.
FAQ
What is the difference between the AvatarOn 45A double pole switch and a standard switch?
Standard household switches typically only disconnect the live wire (single pole). This AvatarOn 45A is a double-pole switch that disconnects both the live and neutral wires, ensuring complete isolation from the power supply during maintenance and offering higher safety. Additionally, its 45A current capacity far exceeds that of standard switches, making it suitable for high-power appliances.
Where should this switch be installed?
It is mainly recommended for power control of storage-type electric water heaters or large kitchen appliances, such as on bathroom walls or kitchen wall surfaces, to facilitate daily operation and power disconnection for maintenance. Installation should be evaluated and performed by a licensed electrician.
