However, to create a comfortable home, besides the interior decoration, furniture and smart devices, a smart video door lock that can ensure safe entry and exit is equally important.
Equipped with various remote video conversations and real-time communication, the Philips Alpha VP smart video door lock uses various digital technologies and imaging technologies, combined with a stylish and beautiful design. Whether it is a new home renovation or an old house renovation, Philips Alpha VP may be your first choice of smart video door lock.

Keep informed of your home situation
The Philips Alpha VP 5HWS features a remote video intercom that allows residents to connect via Wi-Fi, ensuring the lock is always connected to the internet. Once configured, residents can access the Philips EasyKey app to view access history and send a temporary PIN . With the click of a video button, residents can view the door's location, captured by the Philips Alpha VP's wide-angle camera, in real time from anywhere, providing peace of mind even when away from home.
Real-time push of visitor information
When connected to the internet, the Philips Alpha VP also features an instant notification feature. When a visitor presses the doorbell, a notification is sent to the Philips EasyKey app on a smartphone or tablet. Residents can tap the notification box to instantly connect to the app and initiate a two-way audio conversation. Furthermore, the video lock automatically records video when the doorbell rings, ensuring residents never miss a call, even when they're away.
Wide and clear view of the door
The Philips Alpha VP features a 4-inch IPS screen on the interior escutcheon. Residents can tap the on-screen button to check visitors and the door status, and tap again to turn off the screen, making it convenient for the elderly and children. Residents can also adjust screen brightness and sleep mode timeout via the Philips EasyKey mobile app, exclusively for the Philips Alpha VP.
The Philips Alpha VP, meanwhile, features a 144° wide-angle camera and two energy-efficient infrared fill lights, supporting both day and night vision modes. The infrared fill lights automatically switch to night vision mode in low light conditions, providing sufficient clarity to identify facial features as close as 1 meter from the lock terminal.
Instant alerts for abnormal situations
The Philips Alpha VP is equipped with a Pyro-electric Infrared Detector (PIR) sensor. Once someone moves within 1-3 meters of the main entrance, its artificial intelligence human detection algorithm will immediately initiate photo or video recording to identify unusual movements. A notification will be sent to the Philips EasyKey app via an encrypted cloud server, allowing residents to manage door movement and avoid security risks anytime, anywhere.
Brand-new technology protects real passwords
Philips Alpha VP features a new 20-digit virtual PIN code technology feature. Residents can enter any random combination of numbers, as long as it includes a continuous valid password, they can successfully unlock the door without being seen and protect the real password combination.
Stylish and beautiful smart door lock
The Philips Alpha VP, featuring push-pull handles, is available in Crystal Black and is suitable for security doors, copper doors, and wooden doors. Its compact 4-inch IPS screen offers wide-angle viewing angles and a clear field of view, making it particularly eye-catching when installed on smart home doors.

*Original product; the manufacturer provides a 2-year Hong Kong local warranty service . (Warranty is only available if the product is installed by the manufacturer). This includes a first-year on-site maintenance service and a second-year parts warranty. A second-year on-site inspection fee is required. Six-month lithium battery warranty is also included. Two batteries are purchased with the lock for an additional $300 each.
