The AirWire is a high-performance WiFi 7 USB wireless adapter with STR MLO (Simultaneous Transmit and Receive Multi-Link Operation) technology, providing faster, more stable, and lower-latency wireless connections for computers or compatible mobile devices.

Is a UniFi access point (AP) required to use the AirWire?

Yes, the AirWire must be used with a UniFi WiFi AP. It is compatible with older UniFi APs and can extend connection range, but to enable full synchronous MLO features, it must be paired with UniFi U7 or E7 series APs.

Does the AirWire require an external power supply?

Standard operation (tested at 2.5 Gbps full-duplex) is possible with up to 15W of power provided by the computer via USB-C. For enhanced modes requiring higher performance, a 20W or higher auxiliary power supply is recommended.

What is the Super Antenna?
