Selection Criteria
When choosing a recessed lighting fixture, you should consider factors such as beam angle, wattage, color temperature range, and color rendering index. Beam angle determines the light's coverage and is suitable for different spaces. Wattage affects brightness and energy consumption; choosing the right wattage balances energy savings and lighting effectiveness. The color temperature range influences the lighting atmosphere, allowing for adjustments from warm white to cool white to suit your preferences. The color rendering index (Ra value) ensures that the light reproduces the true colors of objects, which is particularly important for home decoration and reading environments. Furthermore, the lighting's design and ease of installation are also important considerations.

FAQ
In what home spaces are these recessed lighting fixtures suitable?
You can choose the right recessed lighting fixture based on the needs of different spaces. For example, the Yeelight Pro D20 8W 80° downlight is suitable for living rooms or study rooms, providing soft and even lighting that's safe for the eyes. The Yeelight Pro E20 series 10W spotlights, with various beam angles (24°, 36°, and 60°), are ideal for kitchens, hallways, or display areas. They can focus or diffuse light to enhance the sense of depth in a space. Remember, these fixtures must be used with the Yeelight Pro gateway to ensure optimal intelligent control and dimming.
How do I choose the right beam angle and color temperature?
The beam angle determines the concentration of light. A smaller 24° beam is ideal for focused lighting, such as display cabinets or artwork, while 36° and 60° are suitable for general lighting or wider coverage. Regarding color temperature, 2700K, with its warmer, yellowish light, creates a cozy atmosphere, ideal for bedrooms or rest areas; 4000K, with its natural white light, is ideal for work areas, keeping you alert and focused. You can flexibly adjust the color temperature to suit the function and atmosphere of different areas in your home, enhancing the overall lighting experience.
What should I pay attention to when installing and maintaining these recessed lights?
During installation, ensure the fixture dimensions match the ceiling opening. The Yeelight Pro series measures 3 inches, so it's best to measure carefully before installation. These fixtures feature a highly efficient heat dissipation design, ensuring a long and stable lifespan under normal use. For maintenance, regularly wipe the fixture surface with a clean, soft cloth to prevent dust accumulation that affects light efficiency. Since the fixtures require the Yeelight Pro gateway, ensure both the gateway and fixture firmware are updated to ensure smooth intelligent dimming and remote control.
