- IPX5 water resistance rating; placement still requires consideration for power supply and connector protection.
Check Before Purchase
- Requires a compatible host and storage running UniFi Protect; cannot build a complete recording system with just a standard Wi-Fi router.
- The Wi-Fi connection still requires a power cable; it is not a battery-powered camera.
- Verify signal strength, power supply, recording duration, and night vision coverage at the installation site beforehand.

Does it support PoE directly?
Standard power supply is via USB; to power via PoE, a compatible PoE-to-USB adapter is required.
Can it be installed outdoors?
Must be evaluated based on on-site shelter, power supply, and connector protection; IPX5 does not mean it can be submerged in water.
